First Day of School for the Last Time

Today the Princess started her Senior year of high school. I've been looking forward to this day, but now that it's here, I know it will be but a blink of an eye before we're seeing her off to college. Her friend from up the street arrived to go with her this morning and announced that it had been exactly 13 years since they'd walked to the first day of kindergarten together. How can that much time have passed?

Here are the Princess and her two College Boy brothers on their first day of school in 1996. A fine looking crew, I'd say.



This photo was taken last Saturday, right after College Boy #2 got a new car. (Can't seem to get all three together in one spot any more!) They've changed a little bit.

I couldn't find a kindergarten photo including the friend from up the street, so here's one of the two girls around the same age. They were quite the little soccer players!


Here they are today, rushing off to get to school early to fulfill their Ambassador duties and help new students find their schedules and their way to class. I know I'll have a graduation photo in here before long, so for now I'll savor this sweet moment on this beautiful day. Have a great year, baby. I love you.
